Recon - Pastor Alonzo Burton
Recon is a class focused on going beyond the four walls of the church through prayer-led evangelism and discipleship.
Grounded in the study of God’s Word,participants are equipped to live as ambassadors of Christ by engaging their communities with the message of reconciliation in everyday life.
The class prepares believers through prayer, Scripture study, and spiritual attentiveness to understand the spiritual climate around them and respond with Spirit-led outreach. Recon carries out evangelism and discipleship through real-life engagement — participating in community events, social gatherings, and shared activities—using everyday spaces as opportunities to build relationships and share the gospel. Rooted in 2 Corinthians5:17-21 (KJV), Recon equips those reconciled to Christ to use the Word of reconciliation to help reconcile others to Him.
