AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. Sunday nights at Harvest means AWANA for our kids!

From nursery through 6th Grade, we have a place for kids to grow. Kids move from the nursery into active AWANA teaching at 2 years of age (must be 2 years old by August 1st).

Awana is split into four age groups:
Puggles (2 and 3 yr olds)
Cubbies (3 through 5 yr olds),
Sparks (Kindergarten, Grade 1 & 2)
plus Truth & Training (T&T) for grades 3 through 6.

Puggles stars Puggle the Platypus. The precepts taught are that “God made all things,” “give thanks” and “God is love.”

Cubbies friends include Cubbie Bear, Katie Collie and Luvie Lamb.

Sparks friends include Sparkie the firefly and children named Chloe, Joel, Jacob and Chloe’s dog Sebastian.

T&T (truth and training) friends include children and the dog, Streamwood.

Some important information on our plans as you are making your plans:

At this time, we are asking you to do a few things.
1. Enroll in AWANA
Let us know you’re coming by Sunday, August 30th.
** Please note you are able to register today and pay later. When the payment screen pops up, make sure to select “pay later” from the payment method dropdown.

2. Take a survey to share your thoughts
This allows us to assess whether we should consider online options and more. This is also an opportunity to share any concerns you may have. This survey is anonymous but allows you to request a call from our AWANA leaders if you so desire.

3. Sign up to serve our kids
Make sure to check the box for AWANA in the area that asks, “Which area(s) are you interested in serving?” If you are willing to serve, this will help our AWANA team know there are options to fill gaps from those are not able to return due to COVID concerns.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact our AWANA Commanders, John & Anna Cease, or Shawn Kitley.
